"Dar a Ouvir. Paisagens Sonoras da Cidade" in the Convento de São Francisco, was composed by two major elements - the sound and image of the city of Coimbra.
The sound element presented the city voices through statements recorded in interviews made to residents or visitors of the city. These were then accompanied by musical pieces generated using sonification techniques, which were designed using the emotions present in each statement.
The image element had the goal of providing the city the voices of the interviewees. Videos of each place mentioned in the statements were composed and edited to personify these places and give them a human element. These places could them take the people's voices as their own and portray the underlying emotions. Each block of speeches was punctuated by moments with no image, where soundscapes of the city were unveiled in the darkness. This moment invited the visitor to mentally transport himself to each place and reflect upon his experiences in them.

A instalação Sonus Populi inserida no Dar a Ouvir de 2019 no Convento de São Francisco foi composta por duas grandes componentes — o som e a imagem da cidade de Coimbra.
A componente sonora apresentou as vozes da cidade na forma de testemunhos captados em entrevistas a residentes ou visitantes da cidade. Esses foram depois acompanhados por temas musicais gerados automaticamente segundo técnicas de sonificação musical, que tiveram por base as emoções presentes em cada testemunho.
A componente de imagem teve por objetivo conceder à cidade as vozes dos entrevistados. Vídeos dos locais referidos nos testemunhos foram compostos e editados de forma a personificar esses locais. Desta forma, os mesmos puderam tomar como suas as vozes das pessoas e apresentar por si mesmos as emoções que lhe são inerentes. Depois de cada bloco de discursos, existiu um momento sem imagem, onde apenas foi apresentada a paisagem sonora da cidade a cru e na escuridão. Este momento convidava o visitante a transportar-se mentalmente para o local e a reflectir sobre as suas vivências no mesmo.
